PVD Plated Stainless Steel (Physical Vapor Deposition) - Gold over Stainless Steel PVD is a high-tech vacuum coating process where a thin layer of gold is bonded to stainless steel. Unlike traditional electroplating, PVD is more durable and environmentally friendly. PVD doesn’t "wear off" like traditional plating, but it can still scratch with enough abrasion — just much slower.
