I’ve written it the way I’d explain it to a friend, because wearing and working with crystals really is easy.
I’ve worn one every day for eight years, through every season of my life. It’s the first thing I reach for in the morning. My crystals keep me aligned with my goals and my manifestations, amplifying whatever I’m calling in or working with at the time. When I reach for them subconsciously halfway through a hard day, I remember what I’m calling in and I remember I’ve got work to do.
From this page, take what’s useful and leave the rest. Let’s start with what a crystal actually is.
What is a crystal?
It’s a piece of the earth, which sounds obvious until you actually sit with it. The crystal in your jewellery or home grew in the dark, under heat and pressure, for a really long time. Millions of years of slow growing and then somebody mined it out of the ground, or found it.
A little bit of science: Crystals form in a repeating molecular structure that stays perfectly, reliably stable. Apply a small current to a sliver of quartz and it vibrates at an exact frequency, which is how your watch keeps time and how the phone in your hand knows what second it is. So, the next time someone tells you crystals are nonsense, ask them what’s inside their watch.
People have worn crystals for thousands of years. Into battle, into birth, into grief.

Where ours come from
Our crystals come to us through Sohail.
He’s in India and he’s been with us for eight years now, which makes him part of our team rather than a supplier we email once a year. We speak with Sohail every single day and his family have connections to the mines, and some of them are the people actually pulling the crystals out of the ground. Sohail goes to market for us and finds what we need. He sends photos and videos, and we choose together, piece by piece, from opposite sides of the world.
His family carve them too. So, every crystal charm you wear from us has been held by his hands before it ever reached yours and buying it means supporting his family the way they’ve supported us since the beginning.
The crystals themselves come from all over, because the earth doesn’t keep them in one place. India, Brazil, America, Australia to name a few. Wherever they’re found, they reach you through people we know by name.
So, what does a
crystal actually do?
Think of a crystal as an amplifier. It holds a steady frequency, and it magnifies whatever you bring to it. Give it a clear intention and it will hold that intention beside you, all day, while you get on with your life.
How do I work with it?
Hold your piece in both hands. Name one thing you’re calling in. Say it out loud, whisper to it or just let it move through you.
Then say the part most people leave out, which is ‘and here’s what I’m going to do about it.’

Do crystals need cleansing?
Yes, because they absorb. That’s exactly why they work and it’s also why they need clearing every now and then.
Cleanse a piece when it’s new to you and any time it starts to feel heavy in your hand. Our favourite way is the simplest: wear it into the shower and let the water run over it while you picture what you’re washing off.
